Paisly "I could make a million or wind up broke Free and easy down the road I go Can't take it with you when you go so Free and easy down the road I go Someday I know it's gonna take me home so Free and easy down the road I go Free and easy down the road I go"
The light grey sky seemed so surreal. The small fluffs looked painted in the atmosphere. Sun glowed in the east, around 9 in the morning. With the time of day the shadows were drawn out along the ground, the long skinny reflections, swayed to and fro with the early breeze. Grass shimmered in the warming rays above. Trees were covered in the dew of the spring mornings. Bird flung their lyrics out to whom ever may be listening. A beat played across the ground, thud thud thud thud. A light nimble sound that sent prey scurrying away. The painted green landscape was disturbed as a red hue entered the forest. Ebony pillars stretched in a two beat trot. Tail lightly swayed with her figure. Clean pelt shimmered with the sun, light hairs glittering.
I can feel the beat of the earth. The sway of my tail gave an eerie feeling as I crept along the beautiful land that the Andreoni owned. That I own now, smile creeping along my face. I was apart of something now. I was the spy of the Andreoni. I gather information and relay it to my master. Avis. Tail flicked in slight annoyance. Avis was okay by me, The damn Viron that I could tell she was madly in love with. He was an annoying little punk, if I could, I'd rip his heart out, but the bitch guarded him like a puppy. Oh I can't wait to see the packs reaction. If he was as big a dick to them as he is to me then he has to be the most hated wolf ever. Yet Avis saw something in him, he was a flirty, cocky brute and I despise the type, I've been raped by the type. Snort blew through my nares with force they knocked the dew off the blades in front of me.
How I can get so wrapped up in my mind... The grass was a comforting sight, even if I was as close as I am to the Dakkina's land. Something smelt wrong though. The usual scent of Altai was gone. Sending my vents into the air I sucked in a gulp, then releasing it. Sensors taking in their fill. There was a new wolf scent, faded but I could clearly detect the scent of a new wolf and Altai. They had crossed paths, but the wolf did not smell of Dakkina, the musty disgusting wretchedness of a brute, but of a Fae. Of Her own master... Of Avis. A Dakkina and a Andreoni? No way. Pulling me hasty gait to a stop, raising my vents high into the air for a second time, I had to make sure. I still could pull in the same scents. Hmm, oh well. I allowed the thud thud of my pads to awaken the landscape. Tail flicked again, I want to find a wolf. Company came few and far between when on the move all the time.
Smile lit up on my face, but something I can do alone! Pads picking up I allowed my body to coil in kinetically. Then it sprung out, picking up speed instantly. Continuing this I ran, leaping into the air, kicking my hind legs out and throwing my head up. The wind felt good as it gave gentle tugs along my hide. Tail flailed out behind me as I contracted and expanded my lungs. Nares dilated and eyes a slit, protecting the dust and grass that so annoyingly hit my face. Dew clung to my jowl, maw parted and a loud, choppy howl broke through. Sending a few white tail does racing off into the forest. The top of the Plateau wasn't far off, the thought entering my mind if I should give Altai and his pack a scare, then deciding not to, rearranging the way my pads gripped the land I turned to the east, taking off into the woods.
Trees passed, their back barely missing my pelt. Logs were only obstacles, which I jumped or weaved through. This was the best, it cleared the mind and gave me so much joy. I was quick, quicker then the Timber and Arctic wolves, and more efficient at my gallop then them. Long legs able to cover more ground in a short amount of time, maybe not as long.
The creek ahead was my only challenge. Lungs were aching with the need to slow down. I did just that. Sending my flying pads the command, they dug talons hard into the dirt, making the dust fly into the air. Feet from the stream when I finally did stop. Fish scattered and flew in different directions as dirt and debris flew over the water. Floating sticks and twigs floated quickly into the distance.
Dipping my tiara, I allowed my face to come closer to the dirt. Orbs searching the polluted water for nothing but everything at the same time. Finally after finding nothing I allowed myself to pull back, sighing. Life was going good, but yet I didn't feel that way. I felt as if my heart was torn in two. One side was the company and protection of a pack but the other was the freedom and challenge of living without a pack, and the thought of being away from Viron really gave me joy. Though I still need my revenge. Smile broke my jaw again. I could break Avis and Viron, and their relationship in one play. Though it could just about kill me to do it, as you can see I'm a very revengeful Fae and wouldn't left it go without being done. If I can just annoy Viron enough to REALLY piss him off maybe he will just slip up and mess his life up for good. He has to do something that will just break Avis's little heart. Smile graced my maw as I soaked in the thoughts of revenge oh I can't WAIT!

This time she had stumbled back into the Lutoni Grasslands to do some patroling. She was to make sure her pack was safe at all times. The fae looked up at the light grey sky, lifting her maw in the air she closed her eyes. A moment of peace. There weren't many times when the alpha felt as peace, where she felt she could close her eyes even for a moment. She was constantly alert, she was not to be the cause of any incidents. Not today, not tomorrow.
Avis continued her treck across the territories, careful not to attract any...unwanted attention. Her tail flickered, and her eyes reopened, dropping her maw to level again. As Avis approached the start of the grasslands, she felt like she could breathe easy again. Her worries seemed to wash away, and the slightest bit of wind helped her. Her pelt swayed in the wind and her tail followed closely behind her.
Avis dipped her head around and about the tall grasses, trying to get the best view possible. She felt the urge to howl, but she knew better, it was a practicle technique, to see if any other wolves were near, but it was not realistic enough. Avis quickened her walk, standing tall and keeping high, trying to see even the slightest tint of change in the grass color. A signal there was a wolf near.
Avis stopped in her tracks, the grass felt....flat. She scolded herself, and lowered her snout to get a wiff of the wolf. Avis pulled her head up, slightly curious. Paisly Avis had remembered her, very well. Paisly could spell trouble, as her and her mate did not take kindly to eachother. Avis followed her instincts and went out in search of Paisly.
Avis saw as Paisly's tracks got fresher and fresher. Avis lifted her head, and kept her ears alert and tail swaying. She quickened her pace once more, and then found herself staring straight at Paisly.
Well, this is interesting

The pungent odor of another Fae entered my nares at about the time I became soaked up in my thoughts. Though I didn't pay much attention to it. I knew it was another wolf, I probably should have, being on Dakkina and Andreoni borders I could be in grave danger. Sigh broke my maw, I knew who the Fae was, the second she spoke. Her annoying lyrics were knives on my delicate ears. OH I crack myself up, smiling I allowed myself to turn around. Of course the Fae would be there, maybe she wasn't as bad as I had allowed myself to remember. Hello, darlin' Nares dilated playfully as my pads moved me forward. Now standing about four feet from Avis. Oh how interesting indeed! Viron was painted over her whole body, his scent like needles in my sensors.
oh? How is ... that thing? Maw pulled back in a devious grin, tail curling as it slowly flicked in a pattern behind me. She had been spending way to much time with a pack mate... or shall I remove the pack part of that sentence? I can smell what will become of their relationship. The cowardly squirming bastards. Puppies. Yuck, the vial things. Nares scrunched in a snort and then allowed my eyes to begin reporting data once more.
The landscape had already changed. The blue morning sky was becoming grey with clouds. More storms? Oh they would play on my dramatic effect when I take Viron's sweet sweet life in my pads.
Time to change the subject. Anything I may do for you, love? Lids batted, oh nows not the time to be flirty with a Fae! I've done it for fun, but this is alpha and she is obviously in love with the damn brute that cut me. Pain itched my neck, the spot where Viron had dug his talons into my scruff, the spot was now healing of course, but my mind hadn't healed. Oh I'm to much like my mother. Sigh broke my nares as I allowed myself to become more wrapped up in the conversation. Even if it is boring, hell just TALKING is boring. It's only fun if theres a fight involved.
I shook my tiara, no I need to listen. She's my.... yeah I'm bored. Orbs shifted off behind the Fae. A young white tail buck stood, audits perched atop it's head. The dumb ass, two wolves in the presence and he still has not run from them. Maybe he knows I'm in no mood to hunt. The buck will breathed yet another day.

Tail wagging a bit, a creamy - pelted brute walked through Lutoni Grasslands. He had needed some time alone, some time to think. He hadn't seen any pack members in a while, but still the invisible yet overwhelming pressure to be perfect weighed on him.
Viron smirked, and shook his head. Ever since that Paisly incident, Avis and Viron had been together as a couple. Still, Viron always felt paranoid, like he was being watched by Paisly. He didn't take her threat of revenge lightly, no, and although he could easily kill the fae, Viron didn't want to hurt anyone.
Paisly, the bitch. It was rare for Viron to show his bad side - he usually was kind and nice and charming. Some wolves, though, got on his nerves so much that it was easy for him to pounce. Bloodshed never went unguilted, however. He always felt bad afterwards. Except with Paisly.
Audits flickered forward; Viron could hear two wolves in conversation. One was Avis, and the other... Paisly. Speak of the devil. It sucked that she was here. Viron decided to walk over and see why she had come back - was she not a spy?
Pace quickening, Viron reached to two wolves easily. The tall grasses concealed him as he crouched down and watched the two wolves. He silently decided that nothing would be spoken until he saw anything wrong. He would watch Avis and Paisly form afar.

She had not expected to see her within the pack territories. Unless the fae had something to say. An expression of curiosity crossed her face, and she could smell the tainted scents of the pack's smell, and then some. She was good at masking scents, so Avis thought. Luckily she was not dull enough to where she could not distuinquish one of her own.
Hello, darlin' Avis was unsure of the tone in her voice, and she gave a halfhearted smile. Though she remained still, she had the urge to turn around and walk away from her, she seemed just...full of sarcasim. The fae had decided that her ears were the cause, and she left it at that.
oh? How is ... that thing? Avis wiped her smile off her face, her face returning to seriousness. Even if her face turned rigid, her voice seemed light and full of energy. Now noww. Senka I'm 100% positive you know his name She knew not to push it with Senka, as she didn't take to her mate very well. Avis knew she would have to make due.
Avis broke her stare, it seemed unruley of an alpha to have negative relations with her pack members. She was not to get on the bad side of anyone, or the pack could crumble. The small fae had to admit she was shocked that Senka even dared to talk to an alpha in such a manner, but she quickly disregarded her thoughts. She didn't want to loose it.
Anything I may do for you, love? Avis pondered for a moment, listening to the world around her and looking at the various grasses around her. Avis looked at Senka once more, Why yes, yes there is She paused, attempting to contain a smirk. Is there any particular reason to why you've come? Any information? Anything that might arouse my interest?
As alpha she had the right to ask questions, and get answers. She intern got the respect she deserves. Although Avis respects everyone, she cannot help but feel sorry for some of the wolves in her contacts. The poor things have had a much harder life than her own, and she was lucky her upbringing brought her to sucess.
The fae pulled herself out of her thoughts and pulled her gaze off of Senka.

My snout crinckled at the intense scent of Viron. It had grown stronger, though I figure it is just the splatter of his hormones on her pelt. Snort billowed from my nares. Better let it go. Orbs pulled in the Fae's attitude. She still wasn't thrilled I was in her pack. Bitch, why not be real with me? I allowed my pools to roll and sighed, releasing the tension built inside of my stock.
My bad. How is.. Viron? My lyrics were laced with sarcasm and drugged with annoyance. Viron still held a dark spot in my mind. Punishable for his offences. Oh the boy didn't know whom he had messed with. Again, I must be polite to my eld... alpha. Avis seemed a bit on edge around me, annoyed that I was here or intriuged by my lack of respect. Like I give a damn about her and her feelings. Yet another snort blew from my nares. My ebony tail flicked out like a whip, irritated by the Fae's obvious lack of controlling her body language. Weather it be purposfulley or accidentally.
Now she had done it. She really did not want to be anywhere near me? Was I really that bad? I wanted to laugh. Only slightly allowing myself to give a grin. A sarcastic one at that. Yes ma'am. Though I am sure you do know about it. Vladimir has gone missing, your precious senka has gone with him and Dastan of the Kiken has abandoned the Kiken clan, and you've been with Viron. Smile light my features at the last part. I moved closer, a stalking walk. I wanted to freak her out, she probably hadn't told anyone else. Only reason I knew is because of the strong scent of Viron, and the faded scents of anothers. His lined her pelt so thick it felt as though he were here. I paused. Was he here? Time to find out.
Snout crinkled, I allowed myself to snarl. Oh I'd be a very bad pack member in her eyes but, I knew alot of her and her pack, more then she knew. I was needed her, for her own saftey. Fangs showed as I clashed them together, obvious not to harm my master, but to fake whomever may be watching out.

They seemed... oddly civil with one another, which suprised the brute quite a bit. He remembered back to when he first met her. She had first seemed nice and charming, easy-going and even a little flirty. Viron had refused to play the game, which caused Paisly to show her bad side.
Which in turn, made Viron show his bad side. Sighing, Viron pawed the grass beneath him. He had a lot to think about lately, concerning alpha and Avis and Andreoni. But he chose not to think about that right now.
The grass around him tickled his body. When laying down, it concealed his body completely. He was nothing but a shadow, a fallen angel, hidden. Viron knew that showing himself might cause unnecessary violence. So he waited and watched and followed Paisly and Avis's simple yet edgy conversation.

She had to learn somehow, or maybe she'd take it the other way, maybe she'd just figured she was an annoying bitch, heck, Paisly acted like she didn't care at all. Avis cared, weather Senka knew it or not, tough love, she was giving it. She wasn't asking for anything, except for her to keep her mouth shut occasionally. Who knows, with dangerous wolves she might just get hurt.
My bad. How is.. Viron? Avis turned her attention back to Senka, she had not seen Viron in a few days, how was she supposed to know? A wave of monotone set on Avis, and she allowed her tail to go limp, dropping down to her feet. How peculiar you'd ask the question, I was under the impression you hated him Avis aught to ignore the sarcasm laid in her voice, but she just couldn't let it go. Heck, Avis was sure Senka was the one wolf who drew her absolutely insane. Senka was, to Avis, unpredictable. She could never understand what went on inside her mind, guess that's what makes her a good spy.
Yes ma'am. Though I am sure you do know about it. Vladimir has gone missing, your precious senka has gone with him and Dastan of the Kiken has abandoned the Kiken clan, and you've been with Viron.
...Tk Avis's eyes narrowed. Had Paisly seen her with Viron? She prayed she was only guessing, as her actions alone with him were rather embarrassing to talk about. Still, she kept her cool. Avis smiled, a genuine Avis smile. Oh? So the mighty Vladimir has gone missing.... About time Avis silently added to herself. She didn't exactly fear Vladimir, she had just heard various stories about him, and he did not seem like someone her pack would get along with.
Avis watched intently as Paisly stalked towards her. What were her intentions? Avis stood her ground, watching with her eyes, looking directly at Senka. She spoke quietly and quickly, You wouldn't really hurt me...would you? Confusion passed through her eyes for a moment, and she could only hope she had no bad intentions.

Sorry it's not all pretty... no time.
Nothing. Damn. I had really been hoping for a dramatic scene. Obviously Viron wasn't so attached to this fae as I had once though. Sigh blew through my nares, giving my body the command to go limp. No M'lady. Just testing... a hypothesis. I was wrong, he... it doesn't care. Orbs shot forward. I was slacking. DAMN. I had allowed myself to almost reveal something special. Special, bullshit. I don't let anyone in my head. It's far to complicated inside my tiara.
I had to let out a chortle. The alpha had gone compleletly limp at the mention of her and Virons secret romance. Hehe, this could be fun. Oh. Sorry was I not supposed to know about y'all two? My bad... Spys duty. Remember? Nares dialated, allowing my sensories to pull in a quick wiff of air, testing it for familiar scents. One stood out, hair raising on my scruff. I couldn't put my mind to the scent though. It was musky, but femenine. Slightly. A brute, wolf I don't know, but brute with a Fae's scent. I half hoped it was Viron, that my maniac threats to the alpha of my pack would not go totally wasted. It would be a waste if that was so.
Shaking my tiara, I have to much time on my hands. I get so wrapped up inside my frail, cold, abyss of a mind that I forget the landscape around me. ORbs pulled in the sight of young Avis, she looked frightened still at the relization that another wolf besides her and the ahole she so dearly called her mate. Allowing myself to sit and think. Paw rose to my snout, flickers of a pink organ dsrted from my maw, cleansing the bits of dirt from my white paw. Oh revendge was sweet sweet sweet....

Viron looked from fae to fae. He had not known this new information. Perhaps Paisly was doing her right job as a spy. He strained to remember the names and connect them to packs. Vladimir... he was the alpha of Blitzbane. Senka was in the Andreoni pack for a while... And then Dastan was the beta of Kiken. Viron found it strange that they'd abandon their duties. Dastan and Vladimir held important jobs in their packs; Viron wasn't sure what Senka had done, but under Avis's guidance, it must've been important.
Viron's creamy white coat was itching to finally emerge out of the shadows. He couldn't wait much longer... the guilt was too much to bare at the moment; he didn't like to spy and thought of it as a form of stealing. Viron then decided he'd go and talk to Paisly and Avis.
Why not?
His front haunches were picked up first and then his back ones. His joints were a bit sore from laying down for so long on the not-soft ground. "Hello Avis, Paisly." He strode over to them and took a seat next to Avis. "What is the topic of today's conversation?"

She was beginning to wonder about Paisly's intention of returning to the pack....not that she wasn't allowed to come back.
No M'lady. Just testing... a hypothesis. I was wrong, he... it doesn't care. Avis took a single step back, trying to avoid Paisly's close contact. She was far too close to the fae than she wished to be. Avis liked her space, she did not like sharing her space with one she was wary of, she had to keep herself safe, as well as the others. Avis had quite a few questions of her own to ask Paisly. Like what was her sudden fascination with her mate? She did NOT want him in on this. This was between her and Paisly.
Oh. Sorry was I not supposed to know about y'all two? My bad... Spys duty. Remember? The fae's snout crinkled and her face turned. No...actually it was a secret. Avis couldn't help but feel slightly speechless. She didn't want to announce that they were together, she did....just not yet. Avis believed there was a time and place for everything, but this is not the time. You would have found out eventually....I supposeAvis forced the lyrics out of her muzzle, but they still came out quieter and less powerful. She was loosing her strength to fight Paisly. She had no clue what to say. She couldn't deny the fact that her and Viron were together, but she couldn't force blame on Paisly for finding out.
Avis's ears pricked as she heard the soft pads of another wolf approaching them. Her head swerved just in time to see who it was before the wolf sat....Viron. Shock arose from Avis. when did he start listening? Avis fixed her expression to nothing, and she replied simply with a greeting, Viron Her eyes beamed towards him for a moment, and she gave a slight nod.
Her tail curled to the left as Viron sat on her right, she had to remain focused and not get wrapped in her own thoughts. She had to be sure she kept her attention on Paisly to be sure nothing was tried. A sigh escaped Avis, today was going to be a day.
"What is the topic of today's conversation?" Viron's words poured into her ear, and then gently seeped out the other. Well it seems we are on the topic of Affiars....isn't that right Paisly? Slight agitation showed in Avis's voice, mostly directed towards Paisly.

Allowing myself to sit in the warm, sunbaked, grass, orbs flickered to the brute. Instantly my audits pinned against my skull. Well, hello. Prick orbs rolled in my sockets. The cream colored brute strolled past her, claiming his seat by the alphess. Oh they made it way to obvious, she attempted to hide it to hard. Flicking her tail to the opposite side, resting her body uncomfortably. He sat closer to her then a Delta, or whatever the hell he was, should be. Smile replaced the grimace painted across my fragile maw. Um, if yall are trying to hide something ya'll suck. Just saying. A flick of an ear and my rump rose. Oh the glory of being sthe only member in the pack able to blackmail the alpha. I held information on her pack that in the wrong hands could ruin her and her precious Delta.
Snort blowing from my nares, pads extending to the couple. Untill I rested only about.. three feet from them rather then the usual distance of ten feet. Allowing my body frame to relax. I still needed to act annoyed, I needed him pissed off. I needed him to slip up just enough to ruin his reputation with the pretty little Fae beside him. Thoughts of Revendge blew across my mind. The fae spoke, grabbing my attention with the harsh tone to her words, aimed directly at me. Snort blew out. I think he knows... You're not as good as I am, you breath like a wounded cow. Glare coming over my features, hackles raised and snout crinkled to show my canines. Though my body position suggested I was rather calm. Something you couldn't see behind my frozen snarl and bristling pelt.
Relaxing, waiting. I need something to go off of. I can't just get stuff to piss someone off if they don't hand me a few things to turn against them. Luckily he had given me the secret of their relationship and his unlucky spying to play off of until he released even more, juicey rich information. Smile played on my lips, ohh the thick aroma of the pain radiating off of another wolf, I can almost reach it. Though this time, in order to get what I want, I may need to bite the bullet. Audits flicked back, the thought nearly killed me to think off, but it must be done. Orbbs were hard as steel as they gazed at the couple in utter regection.

Avis remained calm and collected, and Viron tried to do the same. Still, it was painfully annoying to watch them bicker back and forth. If only Paisly could shut her mouth...
And then the shrewd fae spoke again. Her voice was venomous and dangerous and disgusting. It was vile and unwanted among the Andreoni pack. Why had Avis let her join? She was nothing more than a troublemaker.
Surely the pack would be wounded from Paisly's actions.
Viron looked as clearly and calmly as he could. He wanted to speak, but couldn't find the right words to say. Over and over they formed on his tongue, still they wouldn't sound right after the fact. So Viron remained mute.
Why was it that Paisly always brought on his bad side? He despised her for it; couldn't think of why she would even do such a thing. Did she want to ruin the Andreoni pack?
